I've been building this game for five years. Not continuously. Life kept getting in the way. A career in web development. A homestead that didn't work out. A layoff after twenty years. But every time I walked away from this game I came back to it. Nothing else felt quite like mine the way this does. Goth Girls vs The Goo is a fast-paced gothic action platformer. You run, jump, wall jump, dash, ceiling crawl, and ground pound your way through dark atmospheric levels while an ever-spreading horde of goo tries to consume everything. Move fast. The slower you are the worse it gets. One hit and you're dead. Original pixel art. An original industrial soundtrack. A world I've been building in my head for longer than I care to admit. My take on what a classic SNES platformer looks like when you rebuild it with everything gaming has learned since 1990. I'm building it in public, one update at a time. If that sounds like something you want to be part of, welcome. The goo isn't going to stop itself.
