Combat in Harmonic Drift starts deliberately and controlled. Entities connect through energy beams, and you decide how much power flows through them. Increase energy to deal more damage, but push too far, and the excess energy will harm you instead. Success comes from awareness and restraint, not reflexes. Travel farther from the center to face stronger, evolving entities. Defeating enemies grants experience, allowing you to shape your playstyle through the following attributes: Force – increase damage Resilience – reduce damage and regenerate health Flow – move faster through the world Clarity – expand your visible range Focus – strengthen and extend buffs Every run is a slow, intentional progression, guided by your decisions. Use mouse gestures to invoke temporary buffs, drawing on your Presence resource. Harmonic Drift is designed to be calming and atmospheric with clean, abstract visuals and soft background music.
