AMATEUR HOCKEY IS ABOUT MORE THAN RESULTS Lancers Cup is a hockey management simulation with RPG elements in which you take charge of an amateur club. Your players are not millionaire stars – they are ordinary people with jobs, personal budgets, different personalities, ambitions, and varying motivation to train. Every decision has a human side. Work shifts can make players miss practice or a game, personal finances affect how much they can contribute toward ice time, relationships shape lineup chemistry, and different ambitions can change the mood in the locker room. RUN THE TEAM YOUR WAY • Build a lineup with a goaltender and two to four lines. • Set detailed tactics for every phase of play. • Schedule practices, choose the date and rink, and develop player attributes. • Scout free agents and negotiate their role, ice time, and team expectations. • Manage club finances, ice rental costs, and player contributions. • Balance talent, age, form, morale, discipline, personality, and team relationships. BALANCE HOCKEY WITH REAL LIFE Your manager has a life away from the rink too. Study, look for a job, work shifts, take overtime, and deal with conflicts between employment and games. You decide how much time and money to give to hockey – just like people in the amateur game. CREATE YOUR OWN PATH Start with Litvinov Lancers, Gurmani Zatec, or create a custom club. Choose your own season philosophy: play for fun, rotate and develop players, or chase trophies. A Lancers career includes story events and decisions, including the Czech Cup inspired by real events. As your career develops, Czech national-team qualifiers and tournaments await – including the European Championship and World Championship – and your players can earn a place on the national team. Lancers Cup does not force you to win at all costs. It gives you the freedom to build a team in your own way and discover how far a group of ordinary people can go when they start taking hockey seriously.
