Spiritus TCG blends classic Five Elements strengths and weaknesses with Yin, Yang, and Chaos in one reveal and turn-order system. Each round moves through prep, draw, mulligan-style swap, face-down placement, simultaneous reveals, and multi-step resolution. The **Spirit-generating** side wins by reaching 21 Spirit; the **Spirit-draining** side wins at −21, with tie and special win conditions also in play. The core loop is **build a deck → battle → earn new cards → refine your build**. Built in Godot with clear rules and pacing; saves, a card database, and Steam integration are planned. Spirit system: Shared resource decides the match; strategies split between raising and lowering Spirit. Five Elements and extensions: Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth alongside Yin, Yang, and Chaos—reveal order ties to strengths/weaknesses, card speed, and Spirit. Face-down and reveal: Three cover zones, simultaneous flips, and phased resolution—read opponents and answer back. Deck building: Keywords, tag synergy, and per-name limits support many archetypes. Modes: Solo campaign and online play (Steam friend lobbies planned). Table-friendly: Digital rules aim to stay aligned with the physical game for collectors and offline play.
