A town that’s quiet in all the wrong ways You return to Tujie Town in search of your missing father— a small place wrapped in cane sugar and buried secrets. Too peaceful during the day, and wearing a different face at night. The locals never explain why. They simply warn you: “Follow the rules, and you’ll stay safe.” Surrounded by mountains on three sides and a river on the fourth, its old streets, abandoned sugar factory, and rusted rail lines sink in humid air. The deeper you go, the more you realize those “rules” aren’t advice— they’re survival laws. If you see a snail, walk around it. Never harm it. After sunset, do not linger outdoors. If you glimpse a train station that shouldn’t exist, close your eyes immediately. Never take that certain flower beyond the town’s borders. You only want to find your father, yet you’re drawn into secrets no one is willing to speak aloud. Core Gameplay ■ Exploration Wander through 1970s Taiwanese streets, back alleys, abandoned sugar mills, and old train stations while uncovering forgotten fragments of the past. ■ The Sight Touching old objects reveals lingering “memory echoes.” The higher your level, the more you can see—including things that aren’t supposed to be there. ■ Survival When the moon changes color, the town transforms. The Huāchāng —mimic creatures that imitate humans and merge into walls or shadows— wait for your first mistake. Use light, noise, terrain, and their weaknesses to survive the night.
